VECTRAN

®

FIBER (VEN) is a high-performance multifilament yarn spun from liquid

crystal polymer. Pound for pound Vectran

®

fiber is five times stronger than steel

and ten times stronger than aluminum, which makes it the material of choice in

demanding applications where other fibers fail to meet performance requirements.

Our product also demonstrates minimal moisture absorption, outstanding cut and

abrasion resistance, high dielectric strength, and melt temperature of 329

°

C.

Fiber sleeving is used in a wide range of applications, including aero-

space, high tech research, industrial protection, marine, and medical uses.

ARAMID FLEXO KV (KVN) is a soft, flexible sleeving that’s perfect for bundling and

protecting vulnerable components from the most extreme environmental conditions.

Aramid Flexo KV is braided from aramid fibers and has durability, pliability, and

extraordinary tensile strength. Aramid Flexo KV fibers are up to 20 times stronger

than steel fibers of equal diameter. KVN has excellent thermal stability, permitting

long-term, continuous use at temperatures as low as -170°C and as high as

160°C. Short term exposure up to 300°C can be tolerated. KVN does not melt or

support combustion. KVN sleeving provides extreme strength and durability, yet is

lightweight and easy to install.

*Please note that Aramid Flexo KV is degraded by ultraviolet light. Do not store in direct sunlight. Fluorescent lighting will cause

discoloration, but will not affect fiber mechanical properties.
